TRS-80
My first computer was a TRS-80 model 1.
I had so much fun with it that it gave me the motivation to complete a degree in computer science.
And why not write an emulator of the thing.
Clicking on the picture below – or Here – will bring you to my trs-80 emulator.

The links are broken. I cannot locate the emulator.
Hello Mike,
Thank’s for the info, I have corrected the link.
Alain
link is broken again.
It’s working now.
I have 3key boards for the TRS 80 I also have manuals I would be interested in selling them.
Where do I start?
Best place is on eBay.
Dear Ve2Cuy,
I really like your TRS-80 emulator. Could you please convert your Macromedia Flash TRS-80 emulator into a standalone *.EXE file so I can run it from folder under MS Windows 7?
Keith,
The aim of this project was to develop an TRS-80 emulator that was independent of the operating system.
This is why, it was programmed in flash.
There are already many TRS-80 emulators available in .exe format on the web.
A good reference is: http://www.trs-80.com/wordpress/emulators/
Thank’s for your comment!
Great.
Brought back some happy memories!
Piers
Hi Alain, I too cannot get the trs80 emulator link to work.kindest regards Phill

My first computer was also a Model I. Good memories indeed. My proudest hack ever was getting the computer to produce sound effects entirely by software (no extra hardware).
Who can remember the one pair of commands that caused the Model I to emit a sound?
